Antonis Pyrgos holds a postgraduate degree in Social and Educational Policy from the University of Peloponnese. His educational background is enriched with his MA in Immigration, Social Discrimination and Citizenship from the same University. He has been working as a consultant and a researcher for over 3 years for either European funded projects or national ones in the policy areas of social policy and social integration, immigration, labour market, skills identification and training. Over these years of working experience he has implemented projects generally targeting vulnerable social groups, and in particular immigrants, refugees and low skilled individuals. In his employment career he participated in the projects Social structures tackling poverty; Local actions for employment; Local actions for the integration of vulnerable social groups; Support the operational capacity of First Reception Service (FRS) to manage the extreme rise in migration flows; Training actions for unemployed young people aged 18-24 (Youth Guarantee - NEETs); Negotiating early job-insecurity and labour market exclusion in Europe (H2020); Eurograduate pilot survey (Erasmus+) .
